The Last project the company it's working on it's about the development of an ecological house, we have only sketches about it, it's inspired by the old constructions of the German period and the environment in general, i will show you the paintings i did to give me ideas of what i want, i use the same "develop process" than Alvar Aalto, i just began with basical drowns and then i get my idea... see my basicals drowns!

This one, was inspired by... a tree.. and my hand! i used it to my project because its represent that after our body, our life depends also of the nature, than our lives it's not only by us for us, it's from us to everything that it's around us.

INTERVIEW
By Rocio Solorzano from Venezuela

Hello I’m Rocio Solorzano, I’m an urban planner.

I like very much architecture and I know all of your works and your famous projects so I would love to ask you a few questions.
Where do you prefer to work? Your ideas come better at home or in the office?

It depends of which part of the project are you talking about, the ideas come to me better in home, when I’m relaxed, but in office its better the development part, because there are many opinions and you know “two brains think better than one”

Do you like to work with other architects, urban planners or engineers or do you prefer to work alone?

No, I prefer to work with them, to get a better and complete work with all the points of view in the respective areas.

When you design, do you think about people’s needs or just in the beauty of your idea?

In both, I think first in what’s people need and what they will need, and then I take that needs and make something beauty but useful.

Do you get inspired in other works from other architects to do your own work?

Yes, when I was studying I was inspired by Van Roche because I like that idea, environment and architecture together

Do you have some influence of the countries you have visited?

Not all the times, but most of them, for example the culture of Europe, the modernism in USA and the nature thing in Japan.

How many awards of architecture have you won for your projects?

(laughs) the egocentric question, well actually not all of them just 2 of my projects but there’s a third one that is nominated, I hope to win (laughs)

What programs for the computer do you use to do your projects?

Well, I like to use AutoCad, 3D Max both from Autodesk and also Photoshop

Do you sketch your designs before doing the models and plans?

Sure! First I make drawings of the ideas and design on my sketchbook and the corrections and the entire designing project

Thank you very much for your time it was nice to know you and talking to you!

Thanks to you! Take Care!
